Mike and Nick founded Sound Underground in 1999 to pursue the recording of progressive rock albums. To date, Sound Underground has completed two progressive rock albums, War of Angels and Sirens and Seafarers, which were published and sold on www.mp3.com before some idiot corporation purchased it and destroyed this avenue of DIY promotion for independent bands seeking to be heard.

It was fun while it lasted and, as a result of the worldwide nature of the web, fans were born throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

Sound Underground is about to release its third album, Ghost of a Windswept Isle. The third CD is not a prog album but is instead a cranking, metal/hard rock album to express the violence and upheaval of our times. It was written in a time of war and is dedicated to those who have suffered from acts of violence. Ghost of a Windswept Isle retails for $15.99 and CD's are now available.
